Her father works on a construction site, and her mother serves faithfully as a minister in the church and volunteers in the community. Despite her family’s strong faith, April Lin struggled with obedience. She often talked back to her mother and resisted guidance—a challenge that weighed heavily on her family.

Everything began to change when April Lin encountered CBN Animation’s Superbook.

One day, her Sunday school class watched the Superbook episode “The Road to Damascus.” Through the story of Saul’s dramatic transformation into Paul, she saw the power of Christ to change hearts and lives. That lesson struck a chord deep within her. Reflecting on this experience, April Lin said:

“I decided to obey in my life.”

Her teacher added:

“I believe that this girl will be a blessing for her family as well as for the church.”

As April Lin embraced obedience, blessings began to flow. She now attends church regularly, studies at a private school, and her family was even able to renovate their home.
